When you have guests is like bringing them home. We must care for them. They are there, sometimes even hours. Courtesy to have them snacks.
(End of the questions)
Dear manager or entrepreneur, I ask:
What can you learn from these answers that my mother gives?
What can you do in your business to stay in the minds of customers when it comes to need your services or products?
What can the funeral home that is advertised on the radio?
My four suggestions for your business:
1. Reputation
Not the best ad wins the reputation or customer perception. What are you doing to build an impeccable reputation and memorable? Even the little things, those who often do not even go through your mind, make a difference. I take as example the opinion of my mother, who believes that snacks and service are important at a funeral.
2. Consistency advertising
If you advertise, no one knows you. Although I would go with the closest view to choose the funeral, the announcement of the station is over there. Some people do not ask for opinion. Just a family member dies and call the company that comes to mind (which is advertised more frequently). Be consistent in your ads. Marketing is the key.
3. Curiosity
Be curious. Always be asking questions of your customers, your friends, your family. Born in curiosity by asking yourself and improve. So you create a successful business!
4. Excellent service
Be sure to give an excellent service that your customers leave in love and in a total trance. They are your advertising, your walking advertisement. There is no better advertising weapon past and current clients to talk about your great customer service.
And you know …
Just get my best friend and asked him the same question to my mother. He preferred the same funeral home that my mother chose. I asked why and he replied with a serious tone: “Because they are better”.
One of the more crucial aspects of any successful exhibition stand is the overall design elements. Whilst other things might be a factor, the shape, layout and overall aesthetic are arguably the most important. This is especially true at events where the competition is also present. The goal of designing your exhibition stand in this environment is to make it as noticeable to passers-by as possible.
To creative effective and impressive stands, certain things need to be considered. Focus the design around the product that needs to be promoted. For instance, a stand that displays toys or games for kids will be significantly different to a stand that serves to advertise automobile parts or make up products. Make sure to include the logo of the product and/or that of your company.
Logo placement is undoubtedly one of the more important elements in regards to attracting passers-by. A good, readable logo can be displayed in many ways that can then instantly capture the attention of prospective customers. Make sure to include at least one logo in the centre rear of the banner stand, elevated above eye-level. This means that your audience can see the logo from afar, attracting the eye all the way to the stand itself. This is equally important for outdoor banners, that may be further away from the crowd. More localised logos can be placed on the lower half of the stand, should there be some type of barrier i.e. a countertop. Logos are equally effective when placed on either side of the stand so that passers-by can see it from all directions.
Visual aspects of exhibition stands are also worth considering. Things like product prototypes, pictures, diagrams and interesting colour schemes can convey the message of the company irrespective of the number of people surrounding the stand, or the amount of noise that can often be heard at events such as these. A correct colour scheme cannot be emphasised enough – the various combinations of colour run between dark and light, and fair and subtle. It can often be difficult to understand which is best, but make sure to experiment until you land on the appropriate scheme for your product/service. There is a fine line between garish and bright and rich and appealing, but stick to the ‘complimentary colours’ formula (i.e. colours opposite one another on the colour wheel) and you will be able to attract a lot of attention.
An increasingly popular aspect of exhibition stands is video. A laptop slide show or a looping message/logo on a TV screen can garner a lot of attention in a fresh and innovative way. Otherwise, make sure to include contact information fairly close to your company’s logo, as well as printed on business cards and brochures.
Finally, be sure to factor in lighting – namely, finding the right balance. Lighting should be neither too dim nor too bright. Spotlights can often come in handy to highlight certain products and to draw attention to your stand.
If you would not make efforts in marketing your company, people would not really know that your name exists. Without the right advertising strategy, it would take a lot of time before you get your first customer. Promotional items are the best products in the market that would do the work for you. You do not have to hire models that would eat so much of your budget. Printed items such as t-shirts, umbrellas, and the like can easily do the talking without any voices at all!
Think of anything that can be useful for those who will receive your promotional items. If you want your company name or logo to be exposed a lot, shirts can be a great option as one of your printed items. When the user goes from one place to another, it is as if you will have a billboard walking and advertising your services. At the same time, you can also have printed umbrellas to do the same purpose as well.
You can also have mugs as one of your promotional items too. As a matter of fact, many people appreciate promotional mugs because it can be used in different ways. You can have it as a conventional coffee holder or perhaps a container for your other small items like paperclips at the user’s workstation.
